A subtle visual indicator when an app accesses your camera.
Microphone activity
Know when your microphone is being used, right around the cutout.
Flashlight feedback
Island springs to life when you turn on the torch, then settles into a compact indication.

SEAMLESS BY DESIGN
It feels like it
belongs there.
Island adapts to your device's camera cutout and smoothly transforms between a small pill and an expanded, actionable card. It even responds to screen rotation and sleep.
Discover Island ↗GETTING STARTED
Three steps to magic.
Once an APK is available, getting Island running on your Android phone is simple.
01 / INSTALL
Download the APK
Get the latest published build from the official GitHub Releases page and install it on Android 11 or newer.
02 / ENABLE
Allow Island access
Enable Island's Accessibility service to display the pill. Enable Notification access for music controls.
03 / ENJOY
Watch it come alive
Play music, toggle the flashlight, connect headphones or test the built-in demo.
🔒 Your phone. Your moments. Island's current Android project declares no internet permission. The Accessibility service is designed to host the overlay rather than read screen contents. Android permissions are required for specific functions; review them before enabling.
Android 11 and newer
Make every moment
feel alive.
Island is an Android customization app built for punch-hole cameras. Its source is on GitHub, and APK builds will be published there.
